Rolex Datejust 36, reference 1601/8, 1976. 18ct yellow gold, 36mm, automatic, champagne sigma dial on leather strap with generic buckle. Selected because this fully yellow gold example retains its original champagne sigma dial and hands in flawless condition, a combination that is increasingly difficult to find on examples of this age.

Bezel: Yellow gold fluted bezel with sharp, well-defined teeth throughout.
Bracelet: New Molequin leather strap with generic buckle.
Movement: Calibre 1575, recently serviced; running within specification.
